A German-Engineered Alternative to Uponor®

The same material class — PEX-a and oxygen-tight 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX — engineered in Germany to the same international standards (EN ISO / ASTM), built to German DIN/DVGW standards, with our own specifications and certifications documented and verifiable (cUPC, NSF/ANSI 61, DVGW and WRAS).

The difference is on your terms: low MOQ, direct pricing and full private-label ODM. Supplied to wholesalers, distributors and brands across North America and Europe.

Trade only — Hitze supplies wholesalers, contractors, distributors and importers, not end-consumers.

Who & Why

Who Looks for a Uponor Alternative — and Why

Buyers rarely leave a proven system because it fails. They leave because the commercial terms stop fitting their business. These are the trade buyers Hitze is built for.

Wholesalers & Distributors

You like the material but want direct manufacturer pricing and a workable MOQ — not volume tiers built for someone else’s balance sheet.

Private-Label Brands & Importers

You want the same PEX-a / multilayer performance under your own name, with EN ISO and NSF documentation behind it — something a finished consumer brand can never provide.

MEP Consultants & Contractor Buyers

You need a fully certified system in the same material class — pipe + fitting + manifold, one source — engineered to the same international standards your submittal calls for, shipping on better terms.

What they get from Hitze is a genuinely German-engineered line — built to German DIN/DVGW standards, engineered to the same international standards (EN ISO / ASTM), with our own specifications and certifications documented and verifiable — paired with B2B flexibility: low MOQ, private label, and pricing without a retail layer in between.

Why Hitze

Why Buyers Choose Hitze as Their Alternative

Six reasons Hitze wins the switching decision — each verifiable, none dependent on knocking anyone else.

German-Engineered

A German brand, designed by our German engineering team and built to German DIN/DVGW standards. Engineered in Germany, manufactured to those standards in our audited ODM facilities — honest transparency German-seeking buyers reward.

DVGW Certified

The DVGW mark is issued by the German water authority — the single hardest proof of a German engineering standard, and a document you can put in front of any specifier.

Low, Sample-Friendly MOQ

Trial the line without committing volume built for someone else’s warehouse. Direct-from-manufacturer pricing, no retail layer. MOQ figures available on request.

Private Label / ODM

Your logo on the pipe, your artwork on the coil, EN ISO and NSF documentation behind it — the full path a finished consumer brand can never offer.

Complete System, One Source

Pipe + press/compression/push-fit fittings + manifolds, matched tolerances, one warranty conversation instead of mixing brands on a job.

Built for Two Markets

North American potable listings (cUPC / NSF) and European approvals (DVGW / WRAS / CE+DoP) from one certified range — the paperwork your target market already asks for.

Compatibility

Material & System Compatibility — Switch Without Re-Engineering

Switching supplier shouldn’t mean re-engineering the job. Hitze is built on the same material standards the industry already specs, so the change is commercial, not technical.

  • Material class matches. PEX-a to ASTM F876/F877; 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX composite with a butt-welded, oxygen-tight aluminium core to EN ISO 21003 and DIN 4726 — the same oxygen-barrier logic radiant systems rely on.
  • Standards match. cUPC/UPC (IAPMO), NSF-14, NSF/ANSI 61 for potable in North America; DVGW, WRAS, CE+DoP, EN ISO in Europe — the certifications your submittal already calls for. Certificate numbers available on request.
  • System matches. Pipe, fittings (press TH/U/F/M profiles, compression, push-fit) and manifolds from one manufacturer — one tolerance stack, verified fit, single warranty.

For most buyers, that means a line in the same material class, engineered to the same international standards (EN ISO / ASTM) with our own specifications and certifications documented and verifiable — with better terms behind it.

Behind the Alternative

A German Brand Built on Real Manufacturing Capacity

The reason Hitze can offer the same material class on better B2B terms is scale: a German brand founded in 1974, a 120,000 m² production base and in-house extrusion and brass machining — so pipe, valves and fittings come from one accountable source.

Our extrusion lines run the PEX and multilayer pipe you’d switch to; our own brass hall machines the matched valves and fittings that complete the system. That vertical capacity is what makes a low, sample-friendly MOQ and a full private-label ODM path possible — a finished consumer brand, sourcing across suppliers, structurally can’t offer it.

Every claim on this page is backed by a document you can check: German Trademark No. 30 2020 005 484 (DPMA, Munich), SKZ testing, DIN 8077/8078 and EN ISO 15874, with DVGW, cUPC/NSF and WRAS listings supplied in the Cert Pack.

FAQ

Uponor Alternative — Buyer FAQ

How does Hitze compare to Uponor®?
For the WholesalerHitze is the German-engineered alternative. Uponor is an established PEX-a and radiant brand — Finnish in origin, now part of Switzerland’s Georg Fischer group. Hitze supplies PEX-a and oxygen-tight 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX pipe with matched fittings and manifolds, engineered to the same international standards (EN ISO / ASTM), with our own specifications and certifications documented and verifiable (cUPC, NSF/ANSI 61 and DVGW). The practical difference is B2B terms — low MOQ, direct manufacturer pricing and private-label ODM.
Is Hitze really German-engineered?
For the Importer / BrandYes — and that is the point of difference. Uponor is a Finnish-origin brand, now part of Switzerland’s Georg Fischer group; Hitze is a German brand, engineered in Germany by our German engineering team and built to German DIN and DVGW standards. Products are manufactured to those standards in our audited ODM facilities and are DVGW certified — the German water authority mark. Certificate numbers are supplied in our Cert Pack.
Can Hitze offer a lower MOQ and private label than a brand like Uponor®?
For the Importer / BrandYes. Hitze is sample-friendly with a low MOQ and a full private-label ODM path — your logo on the pipe, plus EN ISO and NSF documentation. A finished consumer brand such as Uponor is not available for private labelling. Exact MOQ and pricing depend on size mix — request a quote.
Is the material and certification right for my submittal?
For the MEP Consultant / ContractorHitze is engineered to the same international standards your submittal calls for, with our own specifications and certifications documented and verifiable. PEX-a is made to ASTM F876/F877; the 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX meets EN ISO 21003 and DIN 4726 for an oxygen-tight core. Potable safety is supported to NSF/ANSI 61 (NA) and DVGW/WRAS (EU).
