Lead-Free Brass
Lead-Free Brass Press Fittings — DZR Grade, NSF/ANSI 61 Potable
A press joint hides inside a wall for decades. The brass grade decides whether it stays safe and corrosion-free — Hitze uses lead-free, dezincification-resistant brass.
Hitze brass press fittings are machined from lead-free, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass grades such as CW724R / CW511L. Lead-free chemistry means they clear NSF/ANSI 61 potable-water expectations in North America and WRAS / DVGW drinking-water requirements in the UK and EU, so wholesalers and contractors can spec them into potable installs with confidence. Dezincification resistance protects the joint from zinc-loss corrosion in aggressive water — critical for fittings buried behind finished walls. Every fitting shares the core build: lead-free brass body + stainless-steel sleeve + O-ring seal.

Sizes 16-32mm — One Brass Fitting for PEX and PEX-AL-PEX Multilayer
Cold and hot, PEX and multilayer — Hitze brass press fittings cover the everyday run without forcing you to stock two systems.
Hitze brass press fittings are supplied in 16, 20, 25 and 32 mm — the everyday working range for domestic hot- and cold-water and hydronic heating loops. The same lead-free brass fitting is available for PEX (PEX-a / PEX-b / PEX-c) and for 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX multilayer pipe, so a single fitting family serves both pipe types on one project. Fitting geometry covers couplings, elbows, tees, reducers and threaded transition adapters for pipe-to-valve and pipe-to-manifold connections.
