Angle Stop Valves (Service / Shut-off Valves) Lead-Free Core
Quarter-turn shut-off valves in lead-free DZR brass for toilet, faucet and appliance supply lines, in real inlet/outlet configurations 1/2×1/2, 1/2×3/8 and 1/2×3/4. Smooth quarter-turn operation, compression / NPT / BSP inlet options, and a positive shut-off for service and installation. Ideal for contractors who need a valve that seats clean and won’t seize over time.

Lead-Free DZR Brass, Built for Potable Water — NSF-61 & cUPC
For any brass component that touches drinking water in North America, lead content is the first thing importers and inspectors check. Hitze bathroom brass is built for exactly that.
Hitze bathroom brass is made from lead-free, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, meeting the ≤0.25% weighted-average lead limit for wetted surfaces. That protects water quality and keeps your shipments clearing compliance instead of sitting in a warehouse.
Hitze is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and listed under cUPC (IAPMO) for potable-water contact, with DVGW and WRAS covering the European and UK markets and CE + DoP for EU conformity. Behind those market listings sit Hitze’s German credentials — SKZ certification (Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum, a German plastics testing institute), DIN 8077/8078 and EN ISO 15874 — the same German-standard testing regime Hitze’s piping systems are built to. DZR brass also resists dezincification corrosion — the failure mode behind pinhole leaks and weakened threads in cheaper yellow-brass fittings — so valves hold pressure and seals over their service life.
