Every faucet is built on a lead-free brass body with a ceramic-disc cartridge, finished in chrome or brushed and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and cUPC (IAPMO) — with low-MOQ, sample-friendly and private-label programs for wholesalers and importers.

Compliance & Durability
Lead-Free Brass Body, Ceramic Cartridge & NSF-61 — Built to Last
Two things decide whether a faucet clears compliance and stays out of the returns bin: what the wetted body is made of, and what’s inside the valve. Hitze covers both.
Every faucet, mixer and shower valve uses a lead-free brass body, meeting the ≤0.25% weighted-average lead limit for potable-water contact in North America — so your shipments clear NSF/ANSI 61 and cUPC instead of sitting in a warehouse.
Inside, Hitze faucets run on a ceramic-disc cartridge: two polished ceramic discs that slide against each other for smooth single-lever control and a positive, drip-free shut-off. Ceramic discs resist wear far better than rubber-washer valves — the usual cause of dripping taps, stiff levers and warranty returns. The exact rated open/close cycle count per cartridge family is confirmed on the current spec sheet — coming soon on the public page, available on request.
Hitze faucets and shower sets are certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and covered under cUPC (IAPMO) for potable water, with DVGW and WRAS for the European and UK markets and CE + DoP for EU conformity — behind those market listings sit Hitze’s German credentials, SKZ certification (Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum, a German plastics testing institute), DIN 8077/8078 and EN ISO 15874.

On a faucet, the finish is what the buyer sees first and what fails first if it’s cheap.
Hitze supplies faucets and shower sets in chrome and brushed finishes, applied over the lead-free brass body and put through adhesion and corrosion-resistance testing so the surface holds up to daily cleaning, hard water and years of touch — not peeling or spotting in the first season. Additional finish options can be developed for private-label programs.
