Product · Underfloor Heating Pipe
German-brand oxygen-barrier pipe engineered for wet, water-based radiant floor heating — not electric mats. EVOH barrier per DIN 4726, PE-RT and PEX lines in 16–32 mm, coils of 100–300 m built to run a full loop without splicing mid-slab, 50-year design service life.
Supplied in bulk and private label to wholesalers, radiant contractors and importers across North America and Europe.
Trade & wholesale supply only — not electric floor mats. Hitze does not sell single lengths at retail.

The Range
Oxygen-barrier PE-RT and PEX-a for wet radiant floors, in the four heating colours and the sizes contractors actually loop. (Product photography is being finalized; captioned frames show the exact shots on the way.)
Material Choice
For radiant floor heating you have two workhorse materials. The difference is coiling behaviour, connection method and price point — not whether they’re safe for a closed loop.
PE-RT (raised-temperature polyethylene) coils easily, is economical, needs no cross-linking proof, and is the volume choice for slab loops — most wholesalers stock it as the core line. PEX-a adds thermal-memory shape recovery (kinks recover with heat) and works with cold-expansion fittings, favoured on jobs that want that connection method. Both are hydronic (water), both carry an EVOH oxygen barrier, and both pair with our manifolds.
| Spec | PE-RT | PEX-a |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Slab / radiant floor loops, volume supply | Expansion-fit systems, kink-recovery jobs |
| Coiling | Very easy, flexible | Easy, with thermal memory |
| Connection | Press / push-fit / compression | Cold-expansion + press / compression |
| Oxygen barrier | EVOH per DIN 4726 | EVOH per DIN 4726 |
| System | Wet / hydronic | Wet / hydronic |
| Standards direction | PE-RT to ISO 22391 / ASTM | PEX to EN ISO 15875 / ASTM F876 |

EVOH · DIN 4726
In a sealed hydronic loop, oxygen is the enemy. Ordinary polyethylene lets oxygen diffuse straight through the pipe wall into the water — and that dissolved oxygen corrodes everything metal behind it.
That dissolved oxygen attacks every ferrous and metal component — the boiler heat exchanger, the pump, the manifold — and you get sludge, corrosion and warranty callbacks that surface years later. An EVOH oxygen-barrier layer stops that diffusion. This is exactly why DIN 4726 specifies an oxygen barrier for underfloor-heating pipe.
Every Hitze UFH coil is built with an EVOH barrier per DIN 4726. It’s the difference between a pipe that just carries water and a pipe that protects the whole plant behind it.

Sizes & Coils
Contractors lose time and trust when a coil runs out in the middle of a slab. We size UFH coils so a full loop lays in one run.
Our EVOH oxygen-barrier PE-RT & PEX floor-heating pipe runs from 16mm (the radiant-floor default) through 20mm, 25mm and 32mm, in the wall thicknesses below, with coils from 100 m to 300 m to match typical loop lengths per market.
| Size (OD × wall, mm) | Diameter | Wall | Coil length |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16 × 2.0 | 16mm | 2.0mm | 200 m / coil |
| 16 × 2.2 | 16mm | 2.2mm | 100–300 m / coil |
| 20 × 2.0 | 20mm | 2.0mm | 300 m / coil |
| 20 × 2.3 | 20mm | 2.3mm | 100–300 m / coil |
| 20 × 2.8 | 20mm | 2.8mm | 100–300 m / coil |
| 25 × 2.3 | 25mm | 2.3mm | 100 m / coil |
| 25 × 3.5 | 25mm | 3.5mm | 100–200 m / coil |
| 32 × 3.0 | 32mm | 3.0mm | 100 m / coil |
| 32 × 4.4 | 32mm | 4.4mm | 100 m / coil |
| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| Diameters | 16 / 20 / 25 / 32 mm |
| Wall | 2.0 – 4.4 mm (see size table) |
| Coil lengths | 100 – 300 m per coil (e.g. 16×2.0 = 200 m, 20×2.0 = 300 m, 25×2.3 = 100 m, 32×3.0 = 100 m) |

Pipe + Manifold
A radiant floor isn’t a pipe — it’s a system. Sell the system, not a bag of mismatched parts.
Our 16mm and 20mm UFH pipe is dimensioned to pair cleanly with Hitze brass and stainless-steel underfloor-heating manifolds, so your customer gets loops, flow-setters and connections that actually fit each other. For private-label brands and importers, that means you sell a complete radiant floor package under your label.
Wet vs Electric
“Underfloor heating” and “radiant floor heating” cover two very different systems. We’re on one of them.
Electric systems use resistance cables or mats under the floor. Wet / hydronic systems circulate warm water through pipe loops — driven by a boiler or heat pump — and that’s the whole point of a slab-embedded radiant floor: larger areas, better running economy and pairing with modern heat pumps.
Hitze supplies the wet, hydronic side only — PE-RT and PEX-a pipe, manifolds and fittings. We do not supply electric floor mats or cables. If your project is water-based radiant heating, you’re in the right place.
Trade & wholesale supply only. This is a manufacturer/supplier page for hydronic UFH pipe — we don’t retail electric floor mats to consumers. Looking to stock or private-label wet radiant pipe? Read on.
