About Hitze
Hitze is a German brand of premium plumbing and heating piping systems — founded in 1974, engineered in Germany, built to German standards, and trusted by wholesalers, contractors and private-label partners across North America, Europe and 118+ countries worldwide.
Not a trading label with a European-sounding name — a German brand registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich under trademark No. 30 2020 005 484, built around a real German engineering team, over 50 years of piping experience, and a certification stack you can verify before you place a single order.
Trade & wholesale only — Hitze does not sell single lengths at retail.

Inside Hitze
A German brand you can see: our people on the line, our production base, our stocked, container-ready range — and, as we finalize the full company profile, captioned frames showing the shots still to come. What we can’t yet photograph honestly, we mark as coming soon rather than fake.
The Heart of Hitze
Every Hitze product starts on a drawing board in Germany. Since our founding in 1974, our German engineering and design team has owned R&D, product design and material specification for the entire portfolio.
From the 5-layer PEX-AL-PEX with its oxygen-tight aluminium core, to press-fitting jaw profiles (TH / U / F / M), to the geometry of our underfloor heating manifolds — fifty years of that discipline is why buyers in 118+ countries specify a Hitze system. This is what separates a german pipe brand from a re-badged import.
Our engineers work to the German engineering culture we grew up in: specification before shortcut, tolerances that are measured not estimated, and oxygen-barrier and long-term-pressure behavior validated against EN ISO and DIN before a product ever gets a name. That discipline is why a Hitze fitting mates predictably with a Hitze pipe, why our PE-RT holds up under continuous hydronic heat, and why our multilayer pipe meets the DIN 4726 oxygen-diffusion limit that protects a customer’s boiler and pump.
Coming soon: team size, engineer profiles and our German R&D centre photos will be published once the full profile is finalized. We do not publish any figure we cannot verify.

Honest & Transparent
Here is the straight answer most suppliers avoid: Hitze products are engineered in Germany by our German team, then manufactured to German DIN standards and DVGW-certified in our audited production facilities.
We believe this transparency is a stronger position than a vague origin claim — because for a B2B buyer, a claim you can verify is worth more than one you can only hope is true. The honest chain is simple: designed and specified by our German engineering team, then built to German DIN / DVGW specifications in audited facilities where every batch answers to the same standard.
A country label proves nothing on its own. A DVGW certificate, an NSF listing and a CE Declaration of Performance tell you exactly what the pipe was tested to — with a document number you can look up.
Where a product is engineered defines the material grade, the wall tolerances, the oxygen barrier and the pressure rating. That intellectual ownership sits with our German team.
Building to German DIN / DVGW specs in facilities we audit means every batch answers to the same standard — which is what actually shows up in your customers’ installations.
So when a buyer asks “Is it made in Germany?”, our answer is direct: German brand, engineered in Germany, built to German DIN standards and DVGW-certified — every claim on this page is one you can check. For a buyer who wants a German brand and wants to sleep at night, that honesty is the product.
DVGW, cUPC, NSF, WRAS and CE listings in one document — the proof, not just the promise. Certificate numbers available on request.
The Proof
A German brand is only as credible as the standards it can name. Hitze products are designed and validated against the same framework German specifiers rely on — and the German brand itself is registered, not asserted.
| Standard / Proof | What it governs | Why B2B buyers care |
|---|---|---|
| German trademark No. 30 2020 005 484 | Registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office (Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt, Munich) | The hardest third-party proof that Hitze is a genuine German brand — a registration you can look up, not a marketing claim |
| SKZ certificate (Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum) | Testing & certification by a German plastics institute | German-institute-tested proof of material and pipe quality — the German-standard mark on our PP-R lines |
| DIN 8077 / DIN 8078 | German pipe dimensions & testing standard | Guarantees wall thickness, tolerances and pressure behavior to the German norm |
| EN ISO 15874 | PP-R piping system standard | Confirms long-term pressure and thermal performance of the PP-R system |
| DVGW (certification body, not a standard) | German technical certification for gas & water products, granted against German DIN standards | The single hardest independent proof the product meets Germany’s strict technical requirements — recognized by specifiers across the EU |
| DIN 4726 | Oxygen-diffusion limit (EVOH barrier) for heating pipes | Protects boilers, pumps and manifolds from corrosion in hydronic systems |
| EN ISO 21003 / 15874 / 15875 | Multilayer / PP-R / PEX system standards | Confirms long-term pressure and thermal performance |
| cUPC / UPC (IAPMO) | North American plumbing code listing | Required for approval on NA projects |
| NSF-14 / NSF/ANSI 61 | Material safety & potable-water contact | Non-negotiable for drinking-water systems |
| WRAS | UK water-fittings compliance | Opens the UK / Ireland market |
| CE + DoP | EU conformity + Declaration of Performance | Legal placement across the EU / EEA |
Two proofs deserve a special mention. First, the German trademark registration No. 30 2020 005 484, held at the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich, is the hardest third-party evidence that Hitze is a registered German brand — proof of brand identity you can verify in a public register. Second, DVGW — issued by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water — is the most direct third-party proof that the product itself meets Germany’s strict technical requirements: proof of German-standard quality. Together with the German-institute SKZ certificate on our PP-R lines, they are why we feature these credentials first — neither is a substitute for the German engineering team behind our brand, but each is something a buyer can independently check.
Coming soon: individual certificate numbers are available on request and will be published once verified — we state that a credential is held, and never invent a listing number.
Our Mission
To make German-engineered piping accessible to the professionals who build the world’s plumbing and heating systems — without the mystery, the markup, or the guesswork.
We built Hitze for a specific frustration we heard again and again from wholesalers, contractors and importers: German engineering was either priced out of reach or wrapped in vague origin claims nobody could verify. So we made three commitments the foundation of the brand — and each one shows up on the job site, where our pipe actually gets installed.
With real DVGW, NSF, WRAS and CE documentation, not slogans. Every claim on this page is one you can check.
A German brand, engineered in Germany, built to German specs in audited facilities. No “Made in Germany” theatre.
Low MOQ, sample-friendly, a complete 8-line system, and private-label flexibility so partners can build their own brand on our engineering.
That’s the whole idea: German engineering you can trust, on B2B terms that actually work.

Why Global Buyers Choose Hitze
Choosing a german pipe brand is usually about de-risking a decision. Here is what buyers get with Hitze that a generic import — or a German name they can’t verify — doesn’t offer.
