Trust · Warranty & Compatibility
When the pipe, fittings and manifold all come from one German brand, compatibility and warranty stop being your problem. Mixing brands stacks two tolerance sets, invites leaks, and voids the coverage — because no one guarantees a joint they didn’t engineer together. Hitze warrants the system as a whole.
Pipe + fittings + manifold, engineered and toleranced together across TH / U / F / M jaw profiles in 16/20/25/32 mm — validated as one assembly, warrantable as one.
Trade & wholesale only — warranty and claim terms are extended through B2B supply agreements, not consumer single-unit sales.

One System
A warrantable joint is engineered, not assembled from whatever’s on the shelf. Real Hitze components below; captioned frames show the compatibility and warranty shots still being finalized.
Single-Source
Hitze is a German brand of premium radiant heating and potable-water piping systems, supplied to wholesalers, contractors, importers and MEP consultants across North America and Europe.
A piping system only fails at the seams — and seams fail when a value pipe from one maker meets an off-brand fitting from another and a third-party manifold, each held to its own tolerances. Any leak then becomes a three-way argument no one wins. Because Hitze pipe and fittings are engineered and toleranced together as one system — matched across TH / U / F / M jaw profiles in 16/20/25/32 mm — the joint is validated as a single assembly and warrantable as one, so there is one responsible party instead of a blame game.
Pipe and fittings toleranced together to ASTM / EN ISO — not two makers’ tolerances colliding at the seal.
The single-source system is warranted as an assembly, not component-by-component finger-pointing. System warranty duration & terms: coming soon.

Interest
It seems cheaper to mix whatever’s on the shelf. Then a joint weeps behind a finished wall, and you discover no one’s warranty covers a cross-brand connection.
Three things go wrong the moment you mix brands. First, the warranty: virtually every maker’s coverage is written for their own system, so a cross-brand joint is uncovered by both — the failure is yours. Second, the tolerance stack: pipe outer diameter and fitting inner diameter each carry a manufacturing tolerance; keep them single-source and they’re designed to mate, but stack one maker’s pipe against another’s fitting and the sealing interface can drift out of spec, so an O-ring or press seal that would have held now weeps. Third, liability: when pipe and fittings come from different companies, each points at the other and the installer absorbs the callback. A single-source Hitze system removes all three — pipe, fittings and manifold engineered together, warranted as one assembly, with one party accountable.
| Scenario | Warranty | Tolerance | Liability if a joint fails |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mixed brands (pipe A + fitting B) | Generally voided by both makers | Two tolerance stacks collide at the seal | Cross-brand blame game — installer absorbs it |
| Single-source Hitze system | Warranted as one assembly | One tolerance stack, mated by design | One responsible party — Hitze |
Compatibility
Stop guessing at the counter. One matrix maps every pipe to the fitting type, jaw profile and size that seals with it.
Compatibility shouldn’t be tribal knowledge. Hitze publishes a matrix so a wholesaler can answer a customer, a contractor can spec the right tool head, and an importer can quote a system with confidence. Each pipe family — PEX (EN ISO 15874 / ASTM F876-F877), multilayer PEX-AL-PEX (EN ISO 21003 / ASTM F1281-F1282) and PE-RT with EVOH oxygen barrier (DIN 4726) — is mapped to the press, push-fit or compression fitting engineered for it, the correct TH / U / F / M jaw profile, and the 16/20/25/32 mm size. Match them and the joint is validated as one system; deviate and you’re back to a two-brand tolerance stack no one warrants.
| Pipe | Sizes | Matching fitting type | Jaw profile / method | Standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PEX pipe (PEX-a/b/c) | 16 / 20 / 25 / 32 mm | Press / push-fit | TH / U / F / M · tool-free push-fit | EN ISO 15874, ASTM F876/F877 |
| Multilayer PEX-AL-PEX | 16 / 20 / 25 / 32 mm | Press | TH / U / F / M | EN ISO 21003, ASTM F1281/F1282 |
| PE-RT UFH pipe (EVOH) | 16 / 20 / 25 mm | Press / compression | TH / U / F / M · mechanical compression | DIN 4726, EN ISO 22391 |
| PE / poly pipe | Per size | Compression (PP / brass) | Mechanical, reusable | — |

Coverage
A warranty that covers pipe but not the joint, or the fitting but not the seal, protects no one. Hitze warrants the validated assembly.
The value of a system warranty is that it closes the gap where cross-brand coverage falls apart: the joint itself. When the pipe, fittings and manifold are all Hitze and installed per the compatibility matrix — correct pipe, correct fitting, correct jaw profile and size — the connection is treated as one engineered assembly, so coverage doesn’t stop at each component’s edge. Two conditions keep it valid, both squarely in your control: single-source Hitze components, and installation to the matched specification (right profile, right tool, oxygen-barrier pipe on hydronic loops). Warranty duration and the full written terms are confirmed on request.
Pipe + fitting + seal covered as one engineered system — not each component’s edge.
Hitze pipe, fittings and manifold — one tolerance stack, mated by design.
Correct profile, correct tool, correct size — the way the joint was validated.
EVOH barrier pipe (DIN 4726) on hydronic loops keeps corrosion out of the warranty conversation.

Claim Process
A warranty is only as good as the day you need it. Here’s the path from a defect to a resolution — one party, no cross-brand runaround.
Because the system is single-source, a claim has one address instead of a circular argument between suppliers. The process is straightforward: identify and document the defect (photos, batch/lot info, install context), submit the claim to Hitze with proof of the single-source Hitze system, and we review and verify against the compatibility and manufacturing records. Where a defect in a matched Hitze assembly is confirmed, we resolve it per the written terms. Keeping the system single-source and installed to the matrix is what keeps the path this short — mixed-brand joints have no single warrantor to call.
