Trust · Factory & Capacity
For a piping brand, capacity is not a brochure number — it’s the difference between a container that ships complete and on time, and a partial shipment that arrives three weeks late with your customer on the phone.
Hitze is the German brand of GERMANY Hitze INDUSTRY CO., LTD., founded in 1974 — over 50 years engineering plumbing systems, exporting to 118+ countries. We manufacture across a full process chain — pipe extrusion, PEX crosslinking, aluminium-layer welding, and fitting machining — all run to German (DIN / EN) process control. And we don’t ask you to take that on faith: the production floor is audit-ready, on-site or by video.
Written for importers, distributors and MEP specifiers who carry the supply risk — your capacity due-diligence starting point.
Production Floor · In Operation
Capacity = Delivery
Not a wall of glossy factory photos. The real production floor: how the pipe is made — the lines, the process, the control that keeps every batch on tolerance — and how you can verify it for yourself.
Hitze’s production base spans 120,000 m² of plant area, 1000+ employees and 10,000 sets of molds — the manufacturing capability behind container-scale orders. Capacity, on-time and line figures are confirmed per program (see below), and the fastest way to trust a factory is to walk it.
A note on where these figures come from: the 1974 founding date, the 120,000 m² production base, the 1000+ workforce, the 10,000 sets of molds and the 118+ export markets describe Hitze’s own manufacturing capability and production base. Products are contract-manufactured to German (DIN / EN) standards under an ODM model — this is German-brand, German-engineered plumbing.

Walk the Floor
Extrusion halls, crosslinking and cutting lines, CNC machining for brass, and the warehouse where your container is packed. This is the floor you’re invited to audit — on-site or on a live video call.
Verify at source: these are real production and warehouse images — but the strongest proof is a live tour. Book a walkthrough and ask us to zoom in on the gauge, the batch code, the line you’d be buying from.
Capacity
Capacity only matters if it maps to your order. A factory that can’t fill a 40HQ without dead space, or can’t hold output through peak season, turns into your stockout.
Hitze plans line time against confirmed orders across the full range — multilayer PEX-AL-PEX, PEX, PE-RT underfloor-heating pipe, PP-R, fittings and manifolds — so a distributor carries one supplier, not a patchwork of half-filled containers.
| Manufacturing scale | Confirmed figure |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer | GERMANY Hitze INDUSTRY CO., LTD. — German brand |
| Founded | 1974 (50+ years of plumbing-system manufacturing) |
| Plant area | 120,000 m² production base |
| Workforce | 1000+ employees |
| Tooling | 10,000 sets of molds |
| Export reach | 118+ countries |
| Capacity metric | Status |
|---|---|
| Monthly output (pipe) | Coming soon |
| Active extrusion / crosslinking lines | Coming soon |
| Peak-season line reservation | Available for confirmed programs |
| On-time delivery rate | Coming soon |
| Container-fill optimization | Meters-per-40HQ by SKU — available on request |
Why the numbers say “Coming soon”: we don’t publish a capacity figure we can’t stand behind on your specific order. Real monthly output, line count and on-time rate are confirmed per program in the Capability Deck and verified on a tour — because a number you can audit is worth more than one printed on a banner.
Process Chain
A real pipe factory owns the whole chain — not a trading company relabeling drums. Hitze manufactures across four core processes, each engineered to a German (DIN / EN) discipline.
Polymer melt is extruded through a precision die and drawn to size under in-line dimensional control.
PEX is crosslinked — PEX-a (peroxide), PEX-b (silane), PEX-c (electron beam) — to lock the molecular network.
For multilayer PEX-AL-PEX, aluminium tape is formed and welded, then bonded between PEX layers.
Brass and PPSU fitting bodies are machined and assembled with stainless sleeves and O-rings.
One chain, one brand. When the pipe and the fitting are made under the same process control, the press profile, the OD and the seal geometry line up — no mixing three suppliers and hoping the warranties align. The oxygen-barrier (EVOH) layer on heating pipe is applied in-line to meet DIN 4726, blocking the oxygen diffusion that corrodes boilers and steel manifolds in a closed hydronic loop.
| Process | What happens | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Pipe extrusion | Polymer melt is extruded through a precision die and drawn to size under in-line dimensional control | Sets outside diameter and wall thickness on tolerance, batch after batch |
| PEX crosslinking | Polyethylene is crosslinked — PEX-a (peroxide), PEX-b (silane), PEX-c (electron beam) — to lock the molecular network | Delivers the heat, pressure and creep resistance PEX systems are rated for (ASTM F876/F877, EN ISO 15875) |
| Aluminium-layer welding | For multilayer PEX-AL-PEX, an aluminium tape is formed and butt/overlap-welded, then bonded between PEX layers | Creates the 5-layer, oxygen-tight, shape-retaining composite (EN ISO 21003, ASTM F1281/F1282) |
| Fitting machining | Brass and PPSU bodies are machined, and press/push-fit assemblies built with stainless sleeves and O-rings | Ensures pipe and fitting come from one brand and one tolerance system — the system actually matches |
Equipment specifics: Coming soon. Line configuration is walked through on a factory tour and detailed in the Capability Deck.

Process Control
Cheap factories inspect quality at the end and scrap the rejects. A German-standard process builds consistency into every meter — so batch three matches batch one, and your reorder doesn’t drift.
Process control at Hitze runs to a DIN / EN engineering baseline. The principle is simple: control the process at the source, not the defect at the end.
What this means for your reorder: the OD, the wall, the press profile and the crosslink don’t wander between shipments. Your counter staff stop fielding tolerance complaints, and your installers trust the same fitting every time. Full tolerance bands, test methods and AQL levels live on our Quality Control page.
Process control status: The methodology above is how German-standard pipe manufacturing is run and is described here as our approach. Specific in-house tolerance bands, release criteria and measured data: Coming soon.

Reliability
Heating and underfloor-heating pipe demand is seasonal — everyone orders before winter, and a factory that can’t hold output through the peak becomes your stockout.
Hitze plans production against confirmed orders and reserves line time for committed programs, so the reorder you count on shows up when you need it.
Straight talk on numbers: on-time rate and lead times depend on order size, season and shipping mode, so we confirm them against your program rather than printing an average you can’t hold us to. Real figures are in the Capability Deck and verifiable on request.
Audit-Ready
The fastest way to trust a factory is to walk it. Hitze production is audit-ready — bring your QA team and your toughest spec questions.
We’d rather answer your capacity and tolerance questions on a live line than have your installers ask them after the container lands. Two ways to verify:
A real-time walkthrough of the extrusion, crosslinking, aluminium-welding and machining lines, plus in-line process control and QC — no editing, no highlight reel. Ask us to zoom in on the gauge.
For serious programs, walk the floor yourself or send your QA / third-party auditor. Full production and process-control access for committed partners.
One PDF: process chain, equipment overview, process-control methodology, and capacity / on-time figures (confirmed per program). Email required · order-level figures coming soon.
